Terms of use
What StreamRadar gives you, what it does not, what it costs, and what each of the three tiers includes. In short: we tell you when and where a film or series appears with Hungarian audio or subtitles. We do not play anything.
Last updated: 14 September 2026.
This notice is available in multiple languages. In the event of any discrepancy between versions, the Hungarian-language version shall prevail.
1. What the service gives you
StreamRadar is a release tracker. It answers a single question: when and on which streaming platform a film or series starts, and whether it has Hungarian audio or subtitles.
To do this we query the platforms' catalogue once a day, and show it in the interface as a calendar, a timeline, and a searchable list. With an account, personalised recommendations are added; with a subscription, we also notify you before something you care about is released.
2. What it does not give you
We are not saying this in fine print, because it is the most important thing to know about the service:
- Not a content service. We do not play or store films or series. We do not hold a single minute of video.
- We do not sell streaming subscriptions. We are not a reseller for any platform, and there is no agreement of any kind between us.
- We do not grant access to any platform. To actually watch something, you still need to subscribe to that platform yourself.
- We do not guarantee that a title actually appears. The date is announced by the platform, and the platform is what moves it. We show what it tells us.
A StreamRadar subscription is therefore for the tracking, not for the content.
3. The three tiers
The breakdown below is generated from the same list the server itself enforces, so it cannot promise anything other than what you actually get. The same information is on the Service tiers page.

The second tier remains even if your trial expires. An expired trial is not a closure but a fallback to this tier: your data stays, your preferences remain editable, only mail sending and inviting stop. A single payment restores the third tier.
As a subscriber we show no advertising, neither ours nor a third party's. On the first and second tiers, advertising may appear.
4. Price and trial
- The subscription costs 5 HUF gross per year. Not monthly -- yearly.
- The price is for a household, not for one person.
- After registration it is free for 7 days, and for that we ask for no bank card. There is nothing to cancel on the seventh day: if you do not pay, the account simply falls back to the second tier.
- The trial counts from when the household was created, not from your first sign-in.
5. The household
- One subscription covers up to five people: the payer and up to four invitees.
- The limit is enforced by the server, not the interface. A sent but not-yet-accepted invitation also takes up a slot; otherwise five open invitations could turn into a nine-person household.
- Everyone has their own e-mail address and their own password. There is no shared password and no profile picker.
- Only the payer can send an invitation, and the invitation link lives for 7 days.
- The household is not a shared account: members do not see each other's ratings, keywords, or watched titles individually. The shared recommendation works from an aggregate.
If the payer closes their account, the other members' accounts and data stay. The household remains without a payer, and until there is a new payer, no one can invite a new member. Before deletion, the interface informs you of this by name.
6. Withdrawal and cancellation
What we can say for certain today:
- The subscription renews automatically every year, and the fee is deducted from the card on file on the expiry date. This is how it works until you cancel.
- Cancelling is one click, on the My subscription page, no explanation needed. Cancelling takes nothing away: access stays until the end of the period you already paid for, and you can undo the cancellation at any point before then.
- You can close your account at any time on the My data page, no explanation needed, immediately.
- The end of the trial does not trigger payment and does not cause data loss.
7. Accuracy of the data
We take dates, titles, cover images, and language markers from the platforms' catalogue, once a day. This means:
- A date can shift. Postponing a release is the most common event in this genre. When we notice a date has changed, we record it, and we do not overwrite the old one without a trace.
- Missing data is not zero. If a title has no language information, we state that there is no language data. Not that there is no Hungarian audio. The two are not the same, and confusing them would break exactly the question the service exists to answer.
- We may have no data for a platform. In that case the interface states it, rather than showing an empty list. Today there is one such platform out of eleven.
- We accept no responsibility if a platform does something other than what it announced, or if its catalogue provides incorrect data.
8. Your account, and when we may lock it
- One account belongs to one person. Do not give your password to anyone; invite them to the household instead -- that is exactly what it is for.
- You write free text into the keyword watcher and the reminder note. Whatever you write there is stored, and may end up in your own mail. Do not write anything there that you would not want to see again.
- We may lock an account if someone uses the service to hinder its operation, for example through automated bulk querying, or if they try to get into another person's account.
- Closing your account is in your hands, at any time, on the My data page.
9. Trademarks and copyrighted works
The platforms' names and logos are trademarks of their owners. The cover images are the copyrighted works of their rights holders. Here they appear solely for naming and identification, so you can tell which title starts on which platform. They do not imply any relationship, endorsement, or cooperation between us and the platforms.
We serve cover images from our own server, rather than linking directly to the platform's server. We do this to protect visitors: this way their IP address never reaches the image source just because they opened a page.
10. If these terms change
The update date is at the top of the page. If the price, the content of the tiers, or the household limit changes, we announce it in advance and do not apply it retroactively.
What we store about you, for how long, and who we pass it on to, is covered by the privacy notice.
